Scholar Profiles can automatically be pulled into your site from Scholars@Duke.
A Scholars List Page will automatically be generated which displays all scholars profiles (by faculty or by student) and can be filtered by category.
Directions below will show how to import Scholars Profiles from an Organization, or Individually.
Need to Edit an Individual Scholars Profile?
To make changes to a Scholars Profile, review the instructions on the Scholars@Duke Profile content type page.
Import Scholars@Duke Profiles from an Organization
FIRST, Get THE Organization URI from Scholars@Duke
1. On the Scholars@Duke site, navigate to Schools and Institutes.
2. Select the organization whose Scholars Profiles you want to import.
3. Click the Add Data to my Website button.
4. Copy the URI from the URL in the browser window.
- For example, the URL for the School of Nursing is https://scholars.duke.edu/widgets/builder?uri=https://scholars.duke.edu/individual/org50000758
- You will need to copy all characters after uri=
- In this example, the URI is https://scholars.duke.edu/individual/org50000758
THEN, Add THE Organization to Your Site
(*=required)
1. Go to Content > Scholars@Duke Organizations in the main navigation menu.
2. Click the Add scholars@duke organizations button.
3. Enter the Title* of the organization.
4. Leave the Enabled checkbox selected.
5. Select the Import Profiles checkbox in order to import all profiles associated with this organization.
6. Enter the URI from the instructions above, Access Organization URI from Scholars@Duke.
7. Click Save.
Import Individual Scholars@Duke Profiles
FIRST, ACCESS THE Profile URI from Scholars@Duke
1. On the Scholars@Duke site, navigate to People.
2. Select the person whose Scholars Profile you want to import.
3. Click the Add Data to my Website button.
4. Copy the URI from the URL in the browser window.
- For example, the URL for Tatjana Abaffy's profile is https://scholars.duke.edu/widgets/builder?uri=https://scholars.duke.edu/individual/per1040112
- You will need to copy all characters after uri=
- In this example, the URI is https://scholars.duke.edu/individual/per1040112
THEN, Add THE Profile to Your Site

1. Go to Content > Scholars@Duke Profiles in the main navigation menu.
2. Click the Add scholars@duke profile button.
3. Enter the Title* of the profile.
4. Leave the Enabled checkbox selected.
5. Enter the URI from the instructions above, Access Profile URI from Scholars@Duke.
6. Note: You can enter content into the Additional Information field, but all other fields will automatically imported from Scholars@Duke.
6. Click Save.
