Publishing Delay

There is a delay between when you publish new content in Drupal and when end users can see it live on the front-end website. It can take up to 10 minutes for your content to appear.

Add New Content Method 1

Adding new content is very similar to managing existing content. New content can be added in two different ways. The first method is to add content via the top toolbar menu.

  1. Go to Content > Add content in the main navigation menu.
  2. Choose from the list of Content Types.
  3. Follow the form instructions and prompts. Required fields have a red asterisk.

The second method is to add new content via the Content page.

  1. Go to Content in the main navigation menu.
  2. Click Add content on the Content page. 
  3. After you select Add content, on the next page, you will see a list of the types of content available to add to your site (e.g., Announcement, Blog Post, Event, FAQ, News, Page, Profile, Resource, or Story).
  4. Select the type of content you'd like to create.
  5. Follow the form instructions and prompts. Required fields have a red asterisk.
